BAO and DOSAS

This could be the most random post you could read, but I am in Bangalore and have been eating out for a while. This post can be considered as that kind of post which gets updated every now and then, for I do eat in couple of places and write about it here.

DOSAS

I have tried dosas of Rameshwaram cafe, amudham cafe and arogya ahara. Couple of other places like Sendhoor coffee house etc. If you are in Bangalore, go to arogya ahara for the taste of south India in dosas or idlis or whatever. This is the place that will make you feel like you are at a OG place, because mostly South Indians come here. For Rameshwaram cafe and amudham cafe have been designated spots for northies, and rarely you will find South Indians coming over here. You can understand the beauty of the eatery by the number of locals visiting the place. So, yes for dosas go to Arogya Ahara. Go for a walk in Agara Lake, and find yourself having the morning breakfast at arogya.

BAO

I till date did not knew what is Bao, apparently it is a yeast bread with stuffing inside. Kind of nachos or the chapatti rolls, but may be more aesthetic. Till date, I have tried it in Bao corner restaurant. Honestly, you can’t call it a restaurant per se for it has a seating of 10 people, in house, but the food was yum. The chefs are in house chefs, they know their shit. For when you go to such small places you assume the food won’t look aesthetic, or might be too spicy or not that good, but that food place was aesthetic as fuck, and tasty as an orgasm. And all that for 200 bucks.

MOMO

I am someone who lives in Dehradun and if I be very honest with you, I don’t like momos much. For someone who is in Dehradun, and not knowing the places to eat momo in Dehradun, can be considered a sign of disgrace. But, sometimes I do consider myself as a Bangalore baddie, lol with the help of people around me, but I tried one of the best momo in Bangalore, Maya Momo. It is in HSR. You will love their Momo, did tried their noodles as well, but eh! well not to my taste. To make such authentic Momo, though I am not sure how the authentic ones are, but they are steamed, and have filling which is only boiled and not fried, for me that is authentic, and Maya momo has to be the one.

MISC

I did go to couple of other places, Bob’s bar, chin lung,, will talk about them when I do remember. But chin lung has a vibe, Bob is good but it is for people who just want to have cheap, good alcohol and nice food.

Stay tuned for more stories.

Ok, Bye!

Amore,
