Sometimes we just go to places because nothing else is making sense, I do that! This morning I was sitting for 12 hours, trying to find out the right time to go to Bangalore Palace. JCB was at work at my place, I really could not understand the sense in breaking a well made road and then re-creating it! Either ways, with lot of irritation and frustration, I left my room at 6 in the evening for a walk. Not that my time management is that poor, but my phone did not had charge and I could not step out because of it, and some random issues I kept falling into. So, after hearing the JCB at work for 6 hours straight, I finally left my house for a walk! Came back home realising I can not visit any of the “book-marked” places to visit in Bengaluru and decided to finally visit Commercial Street, just because I wanted to go somewhere, at least in some ways get to the vibe of the city.

But, well, what a street! I loved it! You know I recently bought a 8k night cream, and when I came back home, all I had was anxiety about it, like why did I do it and stuff! But the joy, the pure joy that I got when buying from the shopkeeper, bargaining for lesser price, seeing the things and then finalising, I really do not understand why and when did this mall culture became a thing! I mean the joy of shopping is in bargaining with the shopkeepers, seeing things and then having those cheaper foods, the stall foods and then laughing and walking around. I walked I think around 10 kms today just seeing shops and vibing around it!

There is an entire lane in Commercial Street where you can find just the shoes and while I was walking in that street, I came across a shop named “Sai Baba Shoe Shop”. Well, if you are not following Indian Politics, you might find the shop name to be obvious. But that shop was in a place that was majorly the area owned by Muslims, most of the shops in that lane were by Muslims, the shop even just next to it was Karims. The person working in that Sai Baba shop was a muslim. Just the irony right, a country where fights happen between Hindu and Muslims, where the major division of it happened based on just religion, at the core of it, you still find both of these religions co-existing with due respect.

Moving here and there, I stumbled upon a temple as well. And boy, the temple! I mean I come from North India, and North India is the part of India that was invaded more, looted more and often fights happened more there. South India, was impacted may be less by it and that is why the older temples still exist there. This temple that is inside the commercial street, is a pure bliss, just like most other temples you will find in South India. The entrance has a tomb like structure with all the Gods being prayed engraved in it. To the left there were people who were playing flute. I recorded the sound. Check it out.

Bliss isn’t it! It was today that I felt or rather wished, how things would have been different if India as a country was not invaded and looted. And then I also saw a temple that was surrounding a tree. So, I guess the tree was there and people prayed to the tree. To save it from being cut, a temple was created surrounding it. Loved it, loved it to the core.

And then, well then, as I was about to leave for my home, a small incident happened with me! So, I went to a medical store and asked for Mintop, which is basically for my hair. Then at that moment, an entire conversation happened with the owner of that place. He asked me about my hair and I explained him about my hair routine and the oil that I use. We had a whole new conversation around hair, and I think hair is one of the major problems in India. Manifesting that I am able to contribute to solve the problem with hair in India and in world, at an affordable price.

PS: I vlogged it out as well πŸ˜›
