What can I say about this book! Its like chatting with a person, hearing someone tell their story, and that’s it! Felt like a conversation with my own grandmother, may be! There was nothing dramatic about the book, nothing where you would have felt your hearts drop down, probably because, when Mira told her story, she was being less emotional about it, or rather less dramatic about it.

She told it in a way where you would feel that she accepted the fact, that challenges of life are how they are and you need to just find a way to come out of them! The fact that the people around us are what makes our life beautiful, the ones who support us, and there is definitely a greater energy than all of us, the one guiding us through the path of life. Only if we have the courage!

For me this book did answer, one of the most important questions I have been having! how do you know, the person is the one! Mira tells about the time her son, went to meet a girl, and he knew that she is the one. He comes back to tell Mira, that she is the girl who I am able to understand her feelings and she is the one who is able to understand what I am saying. I think this was definitely a good answer, the kind of answer, that tells me that indeed, that is what we must be looking in our partner, someone who understands what we are feeling and understands what we are saying!

She talks about excellence, and the importance of excellence in life. The importance of being empathetic, of being human! Of finding love, and loving it with all the heart. No where does Mira drifts into being the motivational speaker, never! She just tells you her story, of the girl who lost her parents young, fought her battles and found something to love. And when she did love, she loved hard! More importantly she never gave up!

This is the kind of book you should read, when you are young. When there is enough motivation, but not much guidance. The kind of book where when you feel lonely, you can come back and chat with Mira Kulkarni. The Mira Kulkarni, founder of Forest Essentials.

Foolishly Yours,
Avantika
