What is up with the music industry? Like, seriously! For the past one day, for some reason the only song running in my head is, I can do both, I can be your boy toy, I can be this whatever!! I heard it while scrolling down the Instagram user stories, and seriously, what is up with this! Why are people making so many reels to it, and now that it is stuck in my head, why am I even talking to myself like that!

Questions that frustrate me can go beyond discussion, but for now, is it really something I should be proud of, or dance about, the fact that I can be whatever you would want me to be. As if being able to satisfy a man’s physical, emotional and spiritual needs is something I should put in my resume for marriage or for that matter for love. Rarely, have I seen instagram reels where men are talking about or singing to a song, which glorifies all the things that they can do for us!

Not that I am against men, or want a song to be written about it to balance the equation, the point being, why is it even written about anyone! Someday there would be a song of all the things that parents do for us, and the world’s parents will start dancing to it! Honestly, this could be a possibility, and then there would be objection of how can something so true be sold out in the markets !

There would be leaders talking about how spiritually we have degraded, the religious mafias of how we are objectifying our parents, that we are brining shame to the things taught in the religious books, and everything wrong with the generation!

May be the solution to it is to let go of Instagram and the youtube shorts. These short mini videos which have reduced our attention level to 20 seconds need to be given a break! But, the bigger question is, will quitting solve the problem!
