It was a dark night,
darker than ever,
she was with her friend,
unaware of what lied ahead.
She was planning her future,
dreams, you could see in her eyes.
But, far away from her,
some uneventful was happening,
they had drunk,
drunk more than they could hold.
Unaware of it,
she was walking along.
And in a few seconds,
her dream were shattered.
Something came closer to her,
pulled her inside and threw her friend apart.
The dreams seemed darker than ever,
she was alone,
and they were four.
Drunk they were and,
she didn’t knew what to do.
Begging is not what was taught to her,
she fought back,
and they tore her apart.
Her body,
every part of the body,
was torn into pieces.
And then thrown,
thrown like a piece of meat.
But, then she,
she fought back.
They said, she will die,
she said, she will fight.
And she fought,
fought like a warrior,
and died like a martyr.
Some said, it was meant to be,
I say, it could have been stopped.
We need to teach the young men,
the fact,
that the body is not just a piece of meat,
that what is said,
is not for ears,
but for soul,
the society needs to change,
and we need to become the change.
