The Procrastinated One

Have I told you that I often procrastinate? Well, you know procrastination is like something everyone does and at some point fights with it. I am not going into details of what are the issues and stuff with procrastination. This time I am going to share with you the view points of a friend of mine, who wanted them to be told. Now, why is it procrastinated one! Well, my friend asked me to update this may be two months back, but every time I just thought, may be some time later. So, before I stop writing again, anything written below are the view points of Ashish( friend) unless I state the other wise.

THE GIFTED ONES

-Ashish Dutt Chaubey
For a long time, I have heard this word,” god gifted” often said to people who were either very talented or had succeeded in their lives profoundly. I thought may be the world is right, and there surely are people who are God Gifted and are better than the others. It is only now that I have come to a conclusion that either every one is God Gifted or no one is.
This understanding came to me when I talked to the “God Gifted” himself. Well, when I was in class tenth, there was a kid in our class, Yash. He was the topper of our school since class I st and every teacher, principal, everyone used to praise him. He did deserved it as well. His concepts in Science and Math were very clear and often his question could even baffle the teacher. One day, I thought of asking him about his routine and stuff.
To my astonishment, he told me that he solves approximately 80 questions a day and this was a daily routine. Can you imagine, doing 80 questions daily in one sitting i.e without taking breaks and that to daily. No doubt, it was his patience, his perseverance and his hard work that gave him that position and now he is in IIT Kanpur( one the most prestigious college of our country). He got an AIR below 150 and is most probably shining even there.

Now, lets take another example of a father and his two sons. One probably good in science and math or in general academics and the other who is poor in them. What happens next. The one who is excellent goes on to pursue higher education while the other one struggles with life. Seeing this, the father comes up and talks to his son. He then realizes that his son has interest in arts and not in math or science. He encourages him to pursue a career in arts, helps in whatever ways he could. Life is back on track.
The twist happens when the elder child returns home. After some time he finds out that his father is over supportive of the other child and never supports him. Distressed at this behavior, he asks his father about it. The father very calmly hears the entire situation and tells, that he knows that you can do without his help, but my other child he needs my help. It is not that he asked for the help, it is because he is my child and I can not see him in pain.
Now just cut this father shit and copy God in it. This is exactly what God does. He( if exist, now this is my opinion, because I don’t believe in God) either loves everyone or does not loves anyone. So, if you find good things happening to someone or luck favoring them, it might be because they need it and you the stronger child can do without it.

So, stop comparing your life with others, everyone has been gifted and you can always be the best you are meant to be. Comparing life or assuming some to be better than you, is like disrespecting yourself and for those who believe in God, it is equivalent to disrespecting him.
GO ON AND LIVE YOUR LIFE. TRUST ME IT IS MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE.
