At times I wonder WHY? I mean I believe that life is simple. Its like that journey on which we are and then the final destination is the grave. No one came with anything and no one is going to take anything from here! You are what you are here and once you are gone who knows who you are! I mean this is so simple. You come here, enjoy life, meet people, giggle sometimes, cry other times. that’s it.Its all a journey! YOUR JOURNEY! And the destination is known!
But then why as we grow up do we complicate things?Who said that a Hindu boy can’t marry a Muslim girl? Who said that a girl should behave in a particular manner and boys should behave the other way? Who said that the women should know how to cook? Who said that a girl should have good hair? Who said that the boys are responsible for the family and that they hold the highest superiority? Who said that their is God and he created everything? Who said that you need to go to temples and those church and those mosques and all those sacred places? Who said you have to take a bath every day? Who said you have to study? WHO SAID? WHO ASKED? WHO?
We are born in a particular society and then we believe that whatever they are doing is what we are supposed to do? But yet again who asked to do so? Does a Muslim girl comes with a mark on her face that claims she is Muslim? Or for that case any other religion? Is their some kind of a boss who asked us to do so and if we don’t do it, we will be fired?WHAT IS IT?WHY IS IT? WHY DO WE DO WHAT WE DO?
At times I feel we just are in such a hurry to become something or to survive that we forget that we are here to live life! enjoy it! Do you remember mohit chadda of punjab who got 99% in 12th and then he did B. Tech and than he got a job in Yahoo. And that he recently died in a plane crash! Do you know that he had 2 bungalows and a car and a beautiful wife and two children? Do you know? Hell No! Half of you would be thinking wow what a life that man had! And few of those with some sense would realise that there actually is no mohit chadda at the first place!! We say what a life he/she has? They must be lucky!We COMPARE!! BUT WHY? WHO ASKED?
We say that O! there are so many rapes going on! This world is no more safe for women! We say that there is so much of poverty! We say that there is so much of non-violence. We say that there is so much of competition. And then we claim that O god! This world has become so unsafe! You can’t travel even safely! You debate about the affair of Anushka and Virat Kohli! And then you make groups and you talk about the world as if you are some bloody UNICEF head!! WHO ARE YOU? Have you thought about it? WHAT DO YOU WANT? WHERE ARE YOU GOING? WHAT IS THE PLAN ABOUT THE JOURNEY? We are just living! As if it is a burden! But why? WHO SAID IT? WHO ASKED?
We say that O! there is so much poverty! But don’t you think that the answer is so simple! Come on! Even if you give a poor child 50 bucks you are not going to die poor! If you think that their is poverty, make a group of those 10 people you debate with and help a poor child! Educate him/her and make their life! If you think that rapes are increasing and you should do something about it! Start it from your house! Your locality! Make a group of 10 and take care of the women of your locality! I mean it is so simple!
But then WHY do we say that O God life is complicated! And wait a second who is God? You have created some kind of a figure in your mind and you believe that this one power is responsible for your life! Are you serious? Are you so paralysed? Can’t you for once say that “I AM THE CREATOR OF MY OWN DESTINY” and believe in it! Instead of giving 100 or 1000 bucks in those sacred places, give it to some poor who needs it! You give and the poverty is gone! Ain’t this simple!
We ponder O those beautiful old days when I was a child! It was so nice. No worries, no tensions! But than yet again who asked you to take tension?You are a child, you fight with your friend and than you share your lunch box and the fight is sorted! So simple! WHY then as you grow up ,to sort a fight with a friend it takes you years of courage??
